Online Format

These online sessions will be more like an in-person class than a webinar. We’ll share experiences, discuss challenges, and do small group activities within the online learning platform. You’ll also be given time to complete the templates to apply the material to your own situation, and then share your templates with the class. This is not a listen-while-I-check-my-email online class. It’s a participate-and-get-things-done online class. While sessions will be recorded, to maximize the value of the course, it is important for you to attend live.

To access the online platform, you’ll need either the Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browser on a computer or laptop. You’ll also need Microsoft PowerPoint to complete and share the templates. Join with a camera and microphone for maximum participation.

Who Should Attend?

The methodology taught in this course was developed for people working within organizations who are responsible for implementing change without having much authority. While these change practitioners go by many titles, they have one thing in common: in order to achieve the desired results, other people in the organization will need to change the way they work.

You will benefit from attending this course if:

  • boulderuphillYou are planning a project, and want to figure out how to get people to adopt the new way of doing things.
  • You’re in the middle of a project that isn’t going as well as you hoped.
  • You’re a human resources, project management, information technology, process improvement, or other professional who recognizes that people will make or break your ability to get things done.
  • You want to build the change capability of your organization and seek practical tools.
  • You’re a new or experienced change practitioner looking to expand your toolkit, increase your influence, and complete the training requirement for the Association of Change Management Professionals’ (ACMP®) Certified Change Management Practitioner (CCMP™) accreditation.

An Excellent Introduction to Change Management

The best instructor-led online class I have attended

December 27, 2018

This has been the best instructor-led online class that I have attended (including internal and external). Heather has done an amazing job bridging the distance of online learning with the high level of interactivity. Each 2-hour class literally flies by with a good balance of lecture, group discussion and white-boarding, walk through of templated examples and completing your own templates for your project then sharing with peers. Really got deep into the topics and learnings. Well-done!

Oozing in Practicality

October 02, 2018

As a consultant I have had the privilege to work with a variety of clients from different industries. Honestly, the variation in outcomes remained unaccounted. For a 6 sigma practitioner it was a thorn… till I completed my workshop with Heather.

Change and managing it, is considered ‘soft’. But Heather has distilled it into a set of framework, (oozing in practicality) when followed will make you a change super-agent.

The thorn is out. This decade will be delivery with low and known variations in outcomes.
