The big-picture agenda will be determined early in the process, and then each subsequent session will delve deeper into barriers that block progress on the journey. How does coaching work?
Coaching conversations occur conveniently over the telephone. Since coaching is powerful, important work is accomplished in a short time. Typically a 45-minute coaching session takes place two or three times per month.
Your coach will keep you on task while exploring the fine points of what needs to be done, by asking skillful questions. She will challenge you, make requests or help brainstorm. Since coaching is a client-driven format, the solution is always your own.
In the spirit of action learning, you will be challenged to make progress between coaching calls – either taking action or expanding your learning. Therefore, you learn from your own experience, and transformation occurs over the course of our coaching relationship.
