Want to know what needs changing in your organization?  Just ask the people who work there.

It’s amazing how people spout long-held ideas for improvement that are unleashed when someone simply asks for them.  With great enthusiasm, employees will share what they have long known was a problem but no one seemed to want to know about it.  Dig past the complaints, and often you will find that people also have thought of a solution.

When you have a groundswell of people in the organization thinking about opportunities for change, you create an atmosphere of possibility.  There is a big difference in mindset between Not-Invented-Here and Invented-Here!
