What a great bit of insight. So obvious when you think about it. We want everyone to be enthused about our change and as a result they can’t wait to put their hand up. But if we take a minute to think about people that’s just not how most of them are. When you factor in the natural uncertainty of change then you add a time lag before people feel ‘comfortable’ about engaging.
Sometimes you have to keep an eye out for a spark of interest and follow it up and hope that the fact you’ve asked one to one means that spark becomes a flame. Great stuff Heather.
