					<description><![CDATA[Simple and sensible and sad that on many occasions people lose sight of the human touch and respect that people deserve.  I think your article speaks to the hidden assumptions we make about people without checking the facts and the beliefs that are supporting the visible actions.  For example, do we believe people are inherently lazy jobsworths or, perhaps, there are much more valid reasons which are getting in the way of them being the best they can be?  One of the things we can do as change agents is help people to share what is important to them by creating the environment  for a conversation about their hopes, values and desires. This is just what you describe.  I am reminded of Nancy Kline&#039;s advice to &#039;file non-good behaviour under consequence&#039;. Then we get to the heart of the matter and real change can happen.]]></description>
