Find a support group! Change work can be frustrating and deflating at times, especially if your stance is to stay detached from the outcome. That's my world. I'm not the one who has to live with the change, the people in the organization are and it can be frustrating to know you have no power or control over the situation. The best you can do is make the offer and let the client choose.

I suppose the next tip I'd have is to learn from as many people as you can. Find as many models, tools, stories etc and learn enough about them to adapt to the situation that you're in. If you're focused on the 'best practice', you've already lost. Stop being an agent of change and go be a PM!
