I worked on a standard work project that wasn&#039;t entirely hidden within operations but was hidden from change control and documentation teams. When they got wind of it at first they were upset though we were able to seemingly convince them of the value. Unfortunately they co-opted it into the sausage factory they called their process and it died a slow death, which may or may not have been the plan all along.

Good did come of it. A lot of the managers on the operations teams learned a lot about the structures and systems necessary to maintain standard work and you could see them thinking about the work environment in a different way.]]></description>
