Hi Heather

I am a Project Coordinator in Health Care. I do not have a clinical background, but rather a degree in Sociology/Anthrology, a CHRP and lots of project management experience.
Until recently I thought I was operating at a deficit because of my lack of clinical experience. However, I decided to flip that thinking and now I focus on how my differences are my strengths. How my perspective is different but complementary. Once I decided to adopt that mind-set, other people saw my strengths instead of my differences as well. This has helped boost my influence and confidence.

Thanks for the opportunity to share.
