It is a very interesting topic and sounds easy until one is done. I would suggest the topic to be why change initiatives fail in many institutions. I have my views for such.

In reply to nega. I don't think managers and leaders are really two different people. We need managers, who have positional authority within organizations, to leverage that authority and lead the change. The title of this article could have easily been Six Roles of a Manager During Change, but that doesn't sound as aspirational.

The “Six Roles of a Leader During Change” are original content on this blog. The information is also referenced in the Influence Change at Work Toolkit that is published here at Enclaria (https://www.enclaria.com/toolkit/), which is the textbook for the Fundamentals of Influencing Change at Work course. Enclaria is a Qualified Education Provider for the Association of Change Management Professionals. Perhaps not as well-known as Kotter, but still well-regarded in the industry. I hope you can use it for your dissertation. Good luck on your MBA!

Hello, Many thanks for your post. Please could you tell me if there is any theory which includes these six roles?

I am doing an MBA dissertation, and I need to include your idea ( with referencing to you ), but they must be based on a well-known change management theory like Kotter.

I hope you can tell me if there are any references for your post.
